🌪️🐾 Meet Stormy & Twister: A Bonded Pair Searching for Their Forever Home 🐾🌪️
Stormy and Twister’s story is one of heartbreak, resilience, and hope. These two beautiful souls were dumped in Biscayne National Park, left to fend for themselves under the scorching sun and relentless rain. For over three months, they roamed the fields, scared and alone, surviving only by their wits and their unwavering bond.
Rescue wasn’t easy. They were terrified, unsure if they could trust humans again. But after weeks of patient efforts, they were finally brought to safety. Now, they’ve been fully vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped—ready to start a new chapter in life.
Stormy, a black Labrador Retriever mix, and Twister, a brown Shepherd mix, are more than just survivors. They are best friends, leaning on each other for comfort and security. They have already lost so much, and we cannot separate them—they must be fostered or adopted together.
.💙 Their Perfect Home 💙
🏡 A loving family with a big yard to run and play
🐶 Good with medium to large dogs (40lbs+)
❌ No cats
👶 Good with kids and people
🚶♂️ Housebroken & walk well on a leash
🐕 Ready for cuddles on the couch after playtime
These two had a temporary foster home for four weeks, but through no fault of their own, they lost their foster and have been stuck in boarding since November. Kennel life is no life for any dog—especially not for these two, who have already endured so much.
We know their forever family is out there. Could it be you? Please consider opening your heart and home to Stormy and Twister. They deserve to know love, security, and the kindness of a true forever family.
If you can foster or adopt, please reach out today! Let’s give Stormy and Twister the happy ending they’ve been waiting for. ❤️🐾

Once the home is approved, we transport the pups ourselves for the final step. Our application also states if at any point the family cannot take care of the pup, the pup is to be returned to the Rescue. We do Foster to Adopt, to ensure the animal and the family have settled in and it is a good fit for both before we finalize adoption.
