My adoption fee is generously sponsored so you can put that towards extra treats and toys for me! :)

We took a stroll to Starbucks first, and Sheba enjoyed a pup cup! She was a big fan. Then we hung out in the park for a while to have some water and treats, and relax in the shade since it was pretty hot out. We didn't end up staying long because she got very stressed when a dog walked by, even pretty far away from us. After that, we walked around some more and stopped for lunch at a restaurant with outdoor seating. Sheba loved the attention she got from the restaurant staff! When we finished lunch Sheba seemed pretty tired and ready to chill for a little bit, so we looked for somewhere to sit and relax where there weren't any dogs around so she could feel comfortable. We ended up spending about an hour just sitting on a bench and having some quiet time and treats! That was our last stop before bringing her back to the ACC.
My boroughbreaker writes: We went to grab lunch at a nearby café, where Sheba Love was patient in sitting by my side. She has a big appetite and willingly took any treat from my hand gently. When I had bacon on the table, she waited for her turn. She did not climb or bark, instead she just stared at me with the most loving eyes. She was calm but alert, and made the perfect companion for a quiet lunch. She isn't spooked by loud sounds - it seems like she's used to the city noises. Sheba Love didn't pull once on the leash. She was always walking in sync by my side, easily redirected if I was going the wrong way.
What my friends at ACC say about me:
I need a home without cats or small animals.
I need a home where there are no other dogs.
I would do best in a home with only adult humans.
I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.
I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some canine body language together!
A volunteer writes: Sheba Love ❤️ We met Sheba just a few weeks ago. Her world was turned upside down when her humans lost their home, meaning she lost hers too. A quintessential baked pitato, she basked in all the sunny spots, favoring a little nook where we sometimes sit with our dogs. She panted gently in the sun and i remembered practically crying over how cute she looked.
Sheba's previous guardians had such sweet things to say about her. They said their favorite things about her are, "She loves to cuddle, she is playful, she follows me wherever I'm at in closed off areas." They also told us she likes Ritz crackers and chicken and walks on the beach.
Sheba doesn't enjoy dogs and will need a home where she can be an only. She's a perfectly aged 7 years old and needs your help.
