This gentle girl lives for life’s simple pleasures: sunny naps, slow strolls, and quality time with her people. She’s calm, easygoing, and full of quiet affection. Elle is currently being fostered in North Carolina, but she can be transported straight into your arms and heart!
Elle is great with other dogs but would also thrive as your one and only cuddle buddy. She absolutely lives for attention: pets, gentle hugs, kisses—you name it. And she’ll return all that love with loyal companionship and sweet, loving gazes that melt your heart. Elle’s got the sweetness, the squish, and the sparkle, you just bring the home.

To apply to adopt one of our rescue dogs, please fill out an adoption application via our website: www.underhoundrailroad.org
Approve Application
Once we receive your application, a volunteer will reach out to discuss if the dog you have applied for is a good for your home & lifestyle.
Home Check
If your application is initially approved we will ask to to a short, virtual home visit. This is easy, and takes about 10 minutes.
Interview
A phone will be completed independent of/or during your virtual home visit. This is a good time to ask all the questions you may have!
Meet the Pet
We will conduct a virtual meet and greet or a meet and greet in person with your dog, depending on locations.
Sign Adoption Contract
When you have been approved to adopt and you have decided to take your dog home, we will send you an adoption contract.
Pay Fee
You may pay your fee online via our website, PayPal or by bank check. Personal checks will not be accepted.
