My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AVAILABLE
Letti
Littlestown, PA

Letti is ready to charm her way into your heart and hopefully your home! She’s a young Australian Cattle Dog mix who is currently about 35lbs. Letti loves people and is so incredibly sweet. Lettie has done well with the other dogs in her foster home but prefers slow introductions when meeting new dogs. Since Letti can be a little unsure about new dogs and has a tendency to bark until she is comfortable with them, continued positive reinforcement training to help Letti have good experiences around other dogs is important.

This girl is wicked smart and loves to learn new things. Since she’s still young, Letti has her puppy tendencies and would thrive in a home that can teach her what and what isn’t appropriate to chew on. In her foster home, Letti has access to a yard through a dog door and is doing well with her housetraining. When she needs to go during the night, she is a pro at letting her foster family know so she doesn’t make any messes.

Letti is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and current on preventatives.

For any questions please message her foster at kimberlylind13@gmail.com

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer group that rescues Australian Cattle Dogs. Our dogs reside in foster homes until they are adopted
Every year, thousands of Australian Cattle Dogs find themselves homeless through no fault of their own. Although the reasons are diverse, the result is the same. Healthy, adoptable dogs face euthanasia in shelters.

The Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association rescues ACDs in shelters from Maine to Georgia and gives these dogs a fresh start with a loving family. Our foster home volunteers welcome the dogs into their homes where they live as members of the family. During the time in foster care, our volunteers determine what kind of forever home will be the right one for each dog.
