My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Littlestown, PA

Bingo a female ACD mix and is approximately 6 months old.  She is 35 lbs. and current on her spay and all preventives.

Bingo is super sweet.  She is house broke with a dog door and has good house manners.

Bingo can be a bit on the shy side and can be scared with loud yelling. Any undesired behavior is easily corrected with your voice or body language making her super easy to train if you aren't a tyrant.  She seems to enjoy car rides and gets along with all dogs she has met.

Bingo loves to chase chickens so I don't consider her free range chicken safe in the barn yard and her recall is about a solid 30%. That being said she always follows us back to the house and she hasn't killed a chicken yet. Cats don't seem to be something she wants to mess with.

Bingo would thrive in a medium energy home with walks and play time.  I don't consider her high energy and she enjoys just hanging out.  She would do well with kids of all sizes but she may jump on small children so continued gentle training on your part would be necessary.

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer group that rescues Australian Cattle Dogs. Our dogs reside in foster homes until they are adopted
Every year, thousands of Australian Cattle Dogs find themselves homeless through no fault of their own. Although the reasons are diverse, the result is the same. Healthy, adoptable dogs face euthanasia in shelters.

The Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association rescues ACDs in shelters from Maine to Georgia and gives these dogs a fresh start with a loving family. Our foster home volunteers welcome the dogs into their homes where they live as members of the family. During the time in foster care, our volunteers determine what kind of forever home will be the right one for each dog.
