Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Russet!
Russet, affectionately known as `Stinker`, is an actually an angel! He is a confident, sweet boy and his curiosity overshadows any caution. Russet is extremely affectionate. He is used to getting up on the couch and will want to lay on top of you as soon as you sit down. He is food motivated! While he already knows how to “sit”, “shake” and his “place” (his crate), he is a quick learner especially when treats are involved. Russet loves his outdoor time, going on walks and tug of war. He needs strong chew toys because he will destroy stuffies and weak rubber balls in an instant. Russet is used to being out of the crate most of the day as both foster parents work from home. He is crate trained and sleeps in it all night at his foster house. But remember that he is a cuddle-bug, and if you are open to sleeping with him he’ll stay close and keep you warm. He is an amazing copilot in the car! Russet does well with children and other dogs. He is still a puppy so occasionally plays a little rough and needs to be redirected on appropriate chewies. Russet is overall easy to care for. If you give him lots of cuddles and plenty of playtime, he will settle into his forever home easily.

Adoption Process
We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.
Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.
Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.
Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
