Meet Maverick!
Maverick is a big, lovable goof who’s ready to be your ride-or-die buddy! Recently, he got to go on a short and fun car ride to grab a treat. Maverick hopped right in with zero hesitation and rode like a pro, calmly taking in all the sights and smells with the windows down and a happy wagging tail.
He takes his relationships seriously and appreciates slow intros to new people. If you bring a treat he will be pleased! It`s important to know that Mav is not the type of guy who wants to go shopping at the pet store, or lounging on the patio of your favorite restaurant. He`s more of an order online get it delivered and bark at the delivery driver kind of guy. Maverick would do best as the only pet in the home, with no kids under 15, so he can soak up all the love and attention for himself.
This handsome guy is a bit of a big boy and would love a walking buddy to help him shed 15–20 pounds while having fun along the way. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who’s always down for a walk or two, Maverick’s your man!

Adoption Process
We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.
Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.
Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.
Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
