Meet Moonstone! What an absolute doll he is! He was extracted from a local hoarding situation. He was initially dumped by the hoarder outside and survived with several of his siblings. He was absolutely terrified, and it took him a while to trust humans. He was polluted with worms & covered in fleas. Moonstone loves to spend his day with his people. He loves to get lots of pets, purrs loudly & is very sweet! He enjoys playing with toys, lounging with his siblings and taking naps. He is a very friendly cat!

Moonstone is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and has tested negative for FIV/FELV. He was treated for ticks, fleas and worms.

Moonstone is kid friendly, other cat friendly and dog friendly.

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
