Ruby has the most beautiful and SOFT fur you will ever find! She enjoys her foster Mom and loves to snuggle. Ruby was the best Mama to her babies, but it is time for her to find her furever home! When Ruby was pregnant, she used to tear up her pod at the rescue in the middle of the night! One time, she drug her entire cat tree into her litter box! We believe this was her reaction to feeling them move!

Ruby enjoys treats, wet food, snuggles and being with her foster home. She is other cat, dog and kid (cat-friendly kiddos only, please) friendly. Ruby uses her litterbox religiously and is always cleaning herself, she keeps that beautiful coat in pristine condition! She gets along great with other cats.

Ruby has been spayed, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, microchiped and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If you are interested in Ruby, please apply at www.castawaycritters.org/adopt.

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
