💗 Hi, I’m Alleigh!
I’m a 10-month-old Chihuahua/Husky mix and I weigh about 30 lbs. I've been in boarding for a few months and it makes me nervous. I know I can seem unsure or even a little tough while I'm in here, but please don’t let that fool you. The moment I get out of this noisy place, I’m all kisses, tail wags, and tummy-rub requests.
I love being close to my humans—snuggling, soaking up scratches, and feeling safe.
I’d be so happy as your one-and-only dog, but I can also hang with other pups my size or bigger. I’m a rough-and-tumble kind of playmate, so if I have a doggy buddy, I hope they’re ready to keep up with me!
More than anything, I just want a soft place to land where I can relax, decompress, and finally show you the sweet, silly girl I really am.
Will you open your heart and home to me and give me a chance?
My biggest wish is to be adopted and be someone's baby, I sit in my kennel and dream about what that day will be like for me, but my second biggest wish is be able to wait for that day in a foster home rather than in boarding.

Meet the Pet
Most people meet the pets at our adoption events. We can also try to arrange a meet and greet.

Submit Application
Our applications have a two week trial period, if you or the dog finds that they are not a fit, you will get your adoption fee returned.

Gates must have lock(s), bars not too far apart where dog can fit through, holes under gates or wall, etc.

We will conduct a home check as well as a meet and greet with any existing animals in the home (they must be fixed and up to date on shots). Adopters will then complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee, which depends on the age of the pet, breed and any medical the dog received.

The primary goal of PAWsitive Difference is to rescue, foster and find forever families for displaced and abandoned dogs, as well as those from kill list shelters. We also support Veterans and senior citizens with keeping their dogs by providing assistance with feeding costs, grooming, and veterinary care.
