My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our delightful Dolly, named after the one and only Dolly Parton! Just like her namesake, our Dolly knows how to fill the room with her presence!

At 14 weeks old, this hound/shepherd mix puppy is all play and love. She’s a big fan of fetch and can’t get enough of her chew toys. Dolly’s mastering the art of crate training and making great strides in house training. She currently weighs about 20 lbs. She adores people and other dogs, making her the perfect companion for any fun-loving person or family. After playtime, she is a pro snuggler and adores cuddles. Ready to add a superstar to your life? Let Dolly serenade you with her puppy antics and charm!

If you are interested in adopting Dolly, please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age.

*** Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. ***
