Meet Rueben! This adorable 6-month-old Labrador Retriever/ Hound mix already weighs 38lbs and is still growing. Rueben is neutered, house trained, and crate trained, which makes him an easy-going addition to any home. He’s great on a leash, enjoys his walks, and gets along well with other dogs and kids. While we’re not sure how he feels about cats, Rueben absolutely loves to play with toys! With his soft fur and playful personality, Rueben is ready to bring joy and love to your family.

If you are interested in adopting Rueben, please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
