Charlene, a 9-year-old, 15 pound, Yorkshire Terrier, possible Brussels Griffon mix, is the definition of a gentle lap dog. She is leash-trained, enjoys going for relaxed walks, and rides beautifully in the car. Charlene is also familiar with a crate and does well with it—though she may let you know if she hears you nearby and would rather be soaking up some cuddle time.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
