My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Much like his namesake from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, our Charlie is on his own big adventure, only instead of a golden ticket, he’s hoping for a golden home.

After a couple months in foster care, Charlie has learned so much. He’s fully house-trained, walks nicely on leash, and sleeps quietly through the night (often curled at the foot of the bed). He enjoys squeaky toys, chew bones, and playtime with his small dog buddy (he loves bigger dogs too!), but he’s equally happy napping beside you!

Charlie is a quiet soul most of the time. Meeting new people can be a little scary at first, but with a couple quiet minutes (and a few treats!), he opens up into a loyal friend. He’d likely do well with older kids who can give him space to settle in, and he’d love to have a confident dog sibling to show him the ropes.

Volunteers and fosters alike see his potential shining through, and everyone agrees, this sweet, petite pup is ready to blossom. If you’ve got a loving home and room in your heart to help a young pup grow, ask to meet Charlie today! His best chapter is yet to come.
