My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sahara is our two year old, previously feral German Shepherd mama who came to us a year ago from Palmdale desert in California. A friend reached out to us saying she was found in the desert and being cared for by a kind samaritan but needed a rescue to step in and help, so we said yes! She gave birth to 10 adorable puppies out there.

Sahara has come out of her shell tons in the past year. She is house trained, crate trained, trained to go in and out of the car, can go on off leash hikes, is wonderful on leash AND is great with dogs/kids/humans. She is the total package. She can still be timid with initial greetings and take a little bit to warm up but once she does, she is the biggest love bug you will ever meet and super loyal to her family.

Sahara is one of the sweetest and most sensitive dogs who will thrive with a family who is caring, loving, patient and kind.
