NEEDS A FOSTER. Dillon was rescued from a county shelter 4 hours before euthanasia. He had been hit by a car before being found stray. He went into foster and had total hip replacement surgery and fully recovered. He’s ready to find his forever home, one where he can go on daily walks. Dillon is in very good general health, a youthful and energetic approx. 10 yrs and 63 lbs, with a deep love for all people, walks, and car rides. He is calm when out and about meeting dogs of all sizes (but he seems to have a fondness for ones smaller than him). Dillon loves nothing more than to be with his people, have morning cuddles, and would make a wonderful travel companion as he is good in the car, happy to enjoy new adventures and explore new places. He’s gentle with little kids but may be better suited to older kids due to his strength. If you would like to meet Dillon you can contact us at therealbark@gmail.com Please note that we are currently set up to adopt within the Los Angeles county area but will consider out of area adoption for the right home.

All of our amazing dogs are fully vetted, fixed, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. They are then fostered by one of our experienced foster volunteers, who are able to assess temperament and personality and begin any necessary training. An adoption application, adoption fee, and home check are required for adoption.
Not 100% certain whether you're ready to commit to pet ownership? Consider fostering one of our amazing dogs. It is a crucial piece of the rescue process, and you can play a huge part in saving a dog's life, all the while deciding if that dog, or any dog, is the right fit for your lifestyle! If you know you can't be a forever owner but want to help out and get a little puppy love in return, this may be just the thing for you!
All supplies, food and veterinary care are provided to the foster by the rescue. No costs involved to you - just provide a safe and loving environment and we will do the rest! Fostering can be as short- or long-term as you would like, and we can place dogs with you that are conducive to your lifestyle and preferences (small, large, hypoallergenic, etc.)
