My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Myles—the ultimate lovable sidekick. Affectionate, playful, and full of personality, he’s happiest when he’s close to his people. Whether it’s curling up at your feet, shadowing you from room to room, or snuggling on the couch, Myles just wants to be part of the action (and soak up all the love he can get).

This fun-loving pup is all about fetch, toys, and making new friends. He gets along beautifully with kids, dogs, and even cats. His favorite pastime? Romping with canine buddies and testing out every toy in the house. We think he might have a dash of herding breed in him—he’s always weaving around legs like he’s on a very important mission!

With classic puppy energy and zero respect for personal space, Myles prefers to be as close as possible. But don’t be fooled—he’s incredibly gentle when taking food and treats, proving he’s just as sweet as he is silly.

Crates aren’t his favorite, but he’ll put up with them when needed (as long as you remember: no beds inside, towels only—per his very specific request).

Myles has a goofy charm and giant heart that make him unforgettable. He’s simply looking for a forever family who’ll love him for the affectionate, playful companion he is.

Fostered in Gilbertsville, PA (Montgomery County) and reasy to head home with a furever family!

Myles is in our Meet Me Program: Dogs featured in our Meet Me Program are participating simply because their foster or a dedicated volunteer is willing and able to take part—this is not based on breed, personality, behavior, or how long a dog has been waiting for a home. Because Mostly Muttz Rescue does not have a physical shelter location, this program allows adopters to connect directly with the people who know each dog best. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, learn more about daily life with the dog, and even schedule an individual meet & greet at an approved location—either before applying or while your application is pending. To get started, email meet_me@mostlymuttz.org with your contact information, and the dog’s foster or volunteer will be in touch.

More about this rescue

We believe that every dog, regardless of health, deserves at least a fighting chance to live, to love and to be loved for the entirety of their life. At Mostly Muttz Rescue, we often choose to save dogs suffering from curable illnesses within the shelter system rather than rescuing dogs that will be easy to place.
