Dog Day Out Review: "I had the pleasure of spending a few hours with Kuno on a Dog Day Out, and he was such a fun companion! He was excited to go on a walk, he needs a little help with leash manners—he gets playful and tries to chew the leash when he’s really excited. But after just 30 minutes of trying to work on it with him, he was already starting to get the hang of it. He’s smart and very trainable!
Kuno is absolutely amazing in the car. He hopped right in on his own, then sat quietly or laid down for a nap. He clearly enjoys the peace and quiet and seems he would thrive in a home where he can relax and feel safe.
If anyone is looking to foster or adopt, Kuno is so deserving of love and a cozy place to call home. If I wasn’t already fostering I would love to help him!"

Border Tails Rescue is a licensed no-kill animal rescue and welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of stray dogs across the world, with a unique focus on Mexico. Border Tails Rescue has a physical shelter facility with dogs on site for viewing everyday. Border Tails Rescue primarily works with rural shelters across the country, including but not limited to TX, AR, AL, LA, KY, IN, and MI on a regular basis as well as CACC, Chicago’s open intake shelter. BTR is Woman-founded by Harleigh Garcia, who was 20 years old at the time. The organization was founded in December of 2019 and Border Tails Rescue is registered with Illinois Secretary of State as a non profit organization.
