Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🍑 Quince | 2 Years Old | Pit Bull Mix
Soft heart. Gentle soul. Certified shy girl.
Quince may not be the first one to rush up for belly rubs, but give her a little time and a lot of kindness, and you’ll discover one of the sweetest, most loyal hearts you’ve ever met. This 2-year-old pit bull mix came to us as a stray, unsure of what to expect—but she’s slowly realizing that people can be pretty great (especially the ones with treats and soft voices).
She’s got a calm, thoughtful presence and a face that looks like she’s always halfway through composing a love letter to you in her head. At first, she’s cautious—observing the world from a safe distance, taking things in—but once she feels safe? She melts. Quiet tail wags, gentle eye contact, the softest little lean into your legs—it’s all there, just waiting to blossom.
Quince would thrive in a home with patient humans who understand that trust is earned and love grows slowly and deeply. She settles beautifully once she knows she’s safe and would love a cozy corner, a steady routine, and someone who doesn’t mind going at her pace.
If you're the kind of person who believes in second chances, soft starts, and the magic of watching a nervous dog discover joy, Quince is waiting—tail tucked, eyes hopeful, heart open.
