Meet Leap, the bouncy, playful pup who truly lives up to his name! This 9-month-old, 29.4-pound APBT mix is full of energy, curiosity, and adventure. What we didn’t know when we named him is that he’s also an expert leaper—so much so that he’ll need to be monitored outside, as he’s a bit of a fence-climbing pro!
Leap is a happy, goofy boy who loves to be involved in everything. His curiosity knows no bounds, and he’s always eager to explore the world around him. Because he’s still young and full of energy, he’ll need a home that can provide plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation—think walks, playtime, training, and enrichment activities to keep his busy brain engaged.

Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs, $75 for kittens under 6 months of age and $50 for all cats 6 months and older. This will include a rabies vaccination (if age appropriate), spay or neuter, a microchip with registration, and all other age appropriate vaccinations.

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
