Shelter FAQs

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
We are an all admittance animal shelter and all of our pets are located in the facility. We do not have foster homes and try to move animals as quickly as possible. However; our shelter always strives to find the best placement for every animal. We serve all of Johnson County Indiana and only accept animals within our county.
