My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cunningham's Bio

Meet Cunningham, a distinguished male Greyhound Galgo Español mix born on April 9th, 2021. With his graceful demeanor and elegant appearance, Cunningham is a gentle soul with a heart full of love. Although he may be initially reserved, his loyal and affectionate nature shines through once he feels secure in his environment, making him an ideal companion for those who appreciate the quiet beauty of a Greyhound mix.

Personality Traits

Cunningham is the epitome of a timid yet loving rescue dog. He may take some time to warm up to new people and surroundings, often preferring the comfort of familiar faces and places. His gentle nature and sensitive spirit make him a thoughtful companion, always observing the world with a curious yet cautious eye. Once Cunningham trusts you, he reveals his affectionate side, seeking out gentle pats and quiet companionship. His loyalty is unwavering, and he forms deep bonds with those who earn his trust.

Breed Information: Greyhound Galgo Español Mix

The Greyhound Galgo Español mix combines the elegance and speed of two ancient breeds renowned for their grace and agility. Greyhounds are known for their gentle and calm demeanor, while Galgo Españols, native to Spain, are celebrated for their endurance and adaptability. This mix results in a medium to large-sized dog with a sleek, athletic build and a dignified presence. Cunningham’s beautiful coat and soulful eyes add to his regal appearance, making him a striking and noble companion.

What to Expect When Adopting a Rescue Dog

Patience and understanding are crucial as Cunningham adjusts to his new environment and learns to trust his new family. Expect to spend time building a bond through consistent interaction and positive reinforcement. More about this rescue

We are dedicated to saving dogs from high kill shelters, strays, owner surrenders and hoarders. We have been saving animals since December 2016. We hold weekly adoption events at various pet stores and pet expos. We hire dog walkers to walk our dogs and we have volunteers who help us weekly. Many of our dogs go to boarding and training to become adoptable and work on their behavioral issues. All our dogs are assessed to find a great family match.

All dogs receive all necessary medical attention and all dogs are vetted.
