Meet Lemon Drop – A Shy but Sweet Little Gem! Lemon Drop is an 11-month-old, 6 pound (as of 3/18) stunning black kitty with a quiet charm. She may be shy at first, but underneath that reserved exterior is a gentle soul who just needs a little time to feel at home. She’s never aggressive—just independent—and she prefers to observe the world from her favorite sunny perch on the cat tree. While she’s not the biggest fan of cuddles, Lemon Drop secretly enjoys pets when gently encouraged. She absolutely adores the company of other cats, especially her best buddy Tomato Soup, and can often be found playing, wrestling, or curling up with a feline friend. She’s also completely unbothered by dogs! Lemon Drop would thrive in a patient home, ideally with another confident cat to show her the ropes. She’s a low-maintenance, laid-back girl who will bring quiet joy to the right family. Could you be the one to help her blossom?

Submit Application

Complete an adoption application for either a Dog or Cat here: https://www.pupstarzrescue.org/application

2.
Interview

We will review your application, set up time to discuss your needs/preferences, and conduct reference checks.

3.
Home Check

We will schedule a virtual home check that takes approximately 20-30 minutes, talking to you about adoption and any concerns you may have.

4.
Meet the Pet

Once your interview is complete, we will connect you with the foster parent to meet the dog/cat.

5.
Pay Fee

You will pay the adoption fee and take home your new family member!

6.
Take the Pet Home

You'll bring home your new family member!

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 4,500 dogs and cats since 2015.
