Meet June – A Gentle Soul Ready for Her Fresh Start

June is a 1-year-old tabby with a quiet strength and a soft, watchful spirit. Found on the streets shortly after giving birth, this young mama has spent the first part of her life focused on survival and caring for her kitten. Now that her little one is growing up, it’s time for June to receive the love and comfort she truly deserves.

Though shy at first, June is incredibly sweet and gentle. She enjoys being picked up, hugged, and kissed—though full-on cuddles are still a work in progress. She loves soft pets, scratches behind the ears, and responds well to a calm presence and baby talk. She'll quietly accept affection and is beginning to show more of her affectionate side every day.

June is curious and food-motivated—offer her a Churu or a tasty meal, and you’ll have her full attention. She’s also starting to explore toys, especially feather wands and scratchers, and shows interest in play despite her unfamiliarity with it.

She gets along with other cats and has been a patient, loving mom. She’s fully litter box trained. June is looking for a quiet, loving home with patient humans who will give her the space and time she needs to open up. With kindness and consistency, her sweet personality will continue to bloom, and she’ll become the gentle companion you didn’t know you were missing.

1.
Submit Application

Complete an adoption application for either a Dog or Cat here: https://www.pupstarzrescue.org/application

2.
Interview

We will review your application, set up time to discuss your needs/preferences, and conduct reference checks.

3.
Home Check

We will schedule a virtual home check that takes approximately 20-30 minutes, talking to you about adoption and any concerns you may have.

4.
Meet the Pet

Once your interview is complete, we will connect you with the foster parent to meet the dog/cat.

5.
Pay Fee

You will pay the adoption fee and take home your new family member!

6.
Take the Pet Home

You'll bring home your new family member!

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 4,500 dogs and cats since 2015.

PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.

PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.

We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.
