Meet Buddy –

Buddy is a stunning 6-year-old solid black cat with a look of a mini panther and a personality that keeps us guessing. He was found in the Greenwood area back in December 2024 and has since been adopted twice—but each time, he came back to us.

Here’s the thing about Buddy: at Pet Savers, he’s all charm. He’ll walk right up to you, ask for pets, even let you hold him. But once he’s taken into a new home, he becomes overwhelmed—terrified even. He hides, he hisses, and he struggles to adjust.

Maybe Buddy just needs a little more time than most to decompress… or maybe he just feels safe here with us. Either way, we believe there’s a special someone out there who understands cats like him. Someone patient, experienced, and willing to give Buddy the time and space he needs to truly feel at home.

He’s up to date on vaccines, neutered, and does well with other cats. Now he just needs the right person to give him a real chance.
