🐻❄️ MEET OSO — THE ADVENTURE-READY, SNUGGLE-OBSESSED HUSKY MIX SEARCHING FOR HIS PERFECT PERSON! ❄️🐻
💙 Adoptable through Paws Without Borders 💙

If you’ve been looking for a dog who’s half explorer, half shadow, and 100% heart… buckle up. Because Oso is about to steal it. 🐾💘

This 3-year-old, 65 lb Husky mix is the perfect blend of energetic, curious, and ridiculously loving — the kind of dog who will happily trot up a mountain with you… and then melt across your lap like he’s made of warm cookie dough. 🍪💙

🐕‍🦺 SO, WHO IS OSO?

✨ Neutered & UTD on shots
✨ House trained (yay!)
✨ Crate trained (just give him a chew toy!)
✨ Great with other dogs — big or small!
✨ Excellent in the car 🚗💨
✨ Velcro-level affectionate — prepare to be followed, adored, and supervised at all times
✨ Quiet for a Husky (yes, really!) — though he’ll throw in a little “woo woo” when he wants attention

🚫 Maybe Not for Oso:

🐱 Cats: Hard no — he pulls VERY hard when seeing them.
👶 Kids: Unknown
🏡 Boredom: Oso gets destructive if left unstimulated — this boy needs activity and enrichment.

🌲🔥 OSO’S DREAM HOME

Oso LOVES his foster, but with their work schedule, he’s craving the active lifestyle they can’t quite give him.

This boy is a hiking, camping, trail-loving adventure buddy just waiting for someone who wants to explore the world with him. 🌄🌲

If you want a dog who will:
✔️ Hit the trails
✔️ Keep up with your active life
✔️ Make every day more fun
✔️ Curl up against you every night

…then Oso is basically your soulmate in fur. 💘🐾

❤️🐻 THE OSO PROMISE

He’ll love you fiercely.
He’ll follow you everywhere.
He’ll make you laugh every single day.
He’ll fill your life with adventure AND cuddles.

All he needs is someone who can give him the exercise, structure, and love he’s so eager to return tenfold.

📩 READY TO MEET OSO?

We dare you to look into those eyes and not fall in love.
Apply today — Oso is ready for his happily-ever-after, and it might just be you. 💙🐾✨

More about this shelter

Hello! Thanks for checking us out. We are a 501-c3 non profit rescue and rehab service in Tucson, AZ

We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs from the streets of Mexico in cooperation with other animal rescue organizations in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Our shelter in Hermosillo, Sonora, Vidas Con Causa, currently has over 150 dogs. There, we provide medical care and a loving place for them to heal before coming to the US, then we foster and work on finding the perfect fit for adoption. You can also visit the available dogs at the rescue in Mexico. Our rescue partners spend a lot of time getting to know the dogs and we know MOST of their
perks and quirks!

We help special needs dogs, the amputees, the pregnant Pitties, the MexiMutts, those from small independent shelters who don't get much notice, the cancer patients. We provide round-the-clock care until these dogs are ready for rehoming.
