Their adoption process
We require that you meet the Greyhounds in person, complete an application then once the references are checked a home visit will be scheduled.
If all goes well with the Greyhound and everyone in the household including all other pets are in agreement and harmony then a contract is require with the adoption fee of $225.00.

Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationCome to a Meet & Greet or request an application on email to greyhoundrescuefoundationoftn@yahoo.com
- Meet the PetCheck and approve application. Once approved we will schedule a home visit with the Greyhound
- Home CheckSign the contract and have your new best friend.

More about this rescue
We are an all volunteer adoption group which became a reality in June 2000. We successfully obtained our non profit status and have worked extremely hard with our focus on helping Greyhounds find loving homes. We work with many groups and send referrals anytime we get inquiries out of our area.
Greyhound Retirement Foundation of Tennessee has grown but we are still a close Greyhound family. We follow-up with and support all our adopters.
We are fairly small but makeup for it with our determination.
