My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

In recognition of Adopt a Senior Month, my adoption fee will be waived from November 17th through November 30th to help me find a loving forever home.

Say hello to Rex—a high-energy pup with a heart full of love! This lively boy is always ready for adventure and would thrive in an active home where he can run, play, and explore to his heart’s content. Rex has a zest for life and will keep you on your toes in the best way possible, whether it's a game of fetch, a long walk, or some backyard zoomies.

Rex can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him just a minute to settle in, and his sweet, friendly personality shines through. Once he feels comfortable, he’s all tail wags and happy licks, eager to be your loyal companion. With a bit of patience and a lot of love, Rex will blossom into the fun, affectionate best friend you’ve been looking for.

For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you.

All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
