Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Scoob, a hound mix with the sweetest soul and the silliest charm! Born around December 17, 2024, Scoob currently weighs about 35 lbs and is expected to grow into a handsome 80-pound pup. With his soft light brown coat and expressive eyes, he’s impossible not to fall in love with. Scoob is a goofy, docile, timid, loyal, and affectionate puppy who’s already showing great promise in his foster home. One of his cutest quirks? He proudly carries around a toy when he’s excited—it’s his version of showing off! He loves rope toys, other dogs, bones, walks, and long naps. Scoob is also house- and crate-trained, walks well on a leash, and is already learning basic commands. While he does tend to get excited and jump up when greeting people, he's eager to please and making progress with gentle guidance. Scoob does best with kids aged 8 and up, especially those who understand that he can be shy at first. He has done great around children under 12 in his foster home and thrives in the company of other friendly dogs. While Scoob hasn't been around cats, he’s shown nothing but sweetness toward his canine companions and would love a forever home with a playful pup friend. Due to his young age, Scoob would do best in a home where someone is around more often to help him continue building confidence and consistency in his routine. He is a loyal "velcro dog" who bonds closely with his people once he trusts them. He’s not a big barker, doesn't dig or chew destructively, and while he doesn’t require a fenced yard, he’d definitely enjoy one! Scoob is current on vaccines, and his adoption fee includes his future neuter. If you're looking for a devoted companion with a lovable, goofy streak, Scoob might just be your perfect match.
