Ziggy, is ready to steal your heart! This lovable Labrador Retriever and American Staffordshire Terrier mix (we think) is about 1–1.5 years old, tipping the scales at 65 pounds of pure affection. He’s neutered, utd on vaccines, and microchipped. Ziggy is heartworm positive but is an excellent candidate for the slow kill treatment and that is included in his adoption fee. He is calm yet energetic, and always up for a belly rub.
What makes Ziggy so special? His temperament is golden! He is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate, enjoying the company of everyone he meets – kids, adults and other dogs included (We are still learning how he feels about cats) He is a potty and kennel pro. Already house broken and kennel trained. He is also working on some basic commands to make him a perfect companion. He is a leash master, no pulling just good vibes. He makes an excellent adventure buddy. This guy loves car rides and will gladly tag along on your road trips or errands.
Ziggy would thrive with an active family or individual who has another playful four-legged friend and a yard for romping. Ziggy’s adoption fee is $165. If you think Ziggy might be a great fit for you, please submit your application, just copy this link into your browser to find the application: https://form.jotform.com/201527297286058

Typically there is a phone interview and a vet reference check.
3.
Meet the Pet
We have an in person meet and greet with the pet to ensure it is a good fit for both the dog and the family
4.

Additional adoption info
We look to match the dogs personality, energy, and size to the potential adoptive family lifestyle and dynamics. A family looking for a calm snuggle buddy is not a good match for a working dog that needs to be walked several miles a day to be content and successful in the home.
