My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Dora – The Adventurous Explorer!

Since she could crawl, Dora has been the fearless leader of her puppy pack—earning her the name Dora the Explorer! This spirited girl is looking for a home that understands some dogs just need a little time to adjust to new surroundings. But once she settles in, she’s a loyal and loving companion.

Dora was born in October 2022 and is an active, fun-loving pup who loves walking on a leash and would make a fantastic jogging partner. Whether you're up for outdoor adventures or just looking for a best friend to explore life with, Dora is ready to join you!

✨ Her adoption fee is $300 and includes her spay, vaccinations, and microchip.

Currently in Texas, but transport is available to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY, and locations along the East Coast (excluding Rhode Island and Massachusetts due to state regulations). A transport fee of $225 applies.

Are you ready for a life full of adventure with Dora? ️ Apply today at www.adoggie4you.org!

Additional adoption info

Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested

All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella and heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped.
Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200.
We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.

We are located on a beautiful 200 acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country. Our founder has dedicated her life and her property to saving Texas dogs and getting them the best homes possible..
