My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Craig is one of 30 dogs rescued from a large seizure in Wilson County. Life has been a little scary for him, but with patience and a few yummy treats, Craig will bravely come up for pets and affection. He loves running around with his dog friends and would really thrive in a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and secure.

Craig weighs 14.6 pounds, was born around March 2015, and is a sweet senior boy who’s been patiently waiting for his forever family. As a longtime resident, he’s hoping someone will finally see the amazing companion he’s ready to be.

If you're interested in meeting Craig, the first step is to complete an application at www.adoggie4you.org. His adoption fee is $250.

Give Craig the chance to finally find the peace and love he deserves! ❤️

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cin cinnati, Lexington KY, or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225 . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested

All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella and heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped.
Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200.
We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.

Our shelter is open by appointment. We periodically conduct adoptions through out San Antonio, including but not limited to Petsmart Petco, HEB and other locations on Sundays by invitation. We are located on a beautiful 200 acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country. Our founder has dedicated her life and her property to saving Texas dogs and getting them the best homes possible..
