Before FAR/My History: My sister Piper and I were surrendered to a loud scary shelter by our previous owner. I didn't love it there and was very nervous even though the staff loved me and took very good care of me and my sister. Lucky for me my foster mama saw me and Piper and decided to rescue us! I've come out of my shell since being in a safe quiet home and I keep hearing I'm the sweetest girl.
Training Status/Commands I know: Training in progress, but I know sit, lay down, come, and no. Nelli also does well with leash.
Working on: Stay, recall, and jumping
Things I like: FOOD! I'm definitely food motivated! Cuddling too!
Things I don’t like: Barking
Things that make my humans happy: Walks in the park and cuddling.
Ideal Family/Home: Nelli would be great in any family home that enjoys a loving active pup! She is very people friendly!
Special Notes: She enjoys crawling under furniture, beds, and couches... also likes to army crawl

In the application, you can specify a particular dog in which you are interested, or let us know what type of pet in which you are looking, so we can find the perfect animal to fit your family and your needs. Once the application is received, a board member will review the application, and make contact with the potential adopter within 48 hours. This initial contact may include further questions/more information, or may include scheduling a meet and greet for you to meet the animal in which you are interested! Once the application is approved or the meet and greet goes well, then the adoption can be finalized. To finalize the adoption, an adoption agreement must be completed, the adoption fee paid (we accept cash, paypal, or credit/debit card), and then the potential adopter can take their new family member home with them or schedule pick up of their furry family member! The adoption fee varies based on the dog or puppy you are interested in. Some of the adoption fees have been listed on the individual dog's description but if you do not see one then please reach out and we would be happy to talk to you about it! Furever After Rescue, a 501(c)(3) organization, is a no-kill, foster-based rescue devoted to finding homes for animals needing a loving home. Most of our animals come from local, high-kill shelters with some occasionally coming from bad situations and owner surrender. Our animals are immediately placed in foster homes where they learn love and are taught how to live in a home environment. All of our animals are up-to-date on their age-appropriate vetting needs and are tested for personality traits as best as possible. We have many wonderful pets looking for forever homes!
