Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charles Bingley is the most handsome gentleman you could ever hope to share your life with! Three year-old Chuck weighs 76 pounds and has a stunning coat and the dreamiest brown eyes. He is house trained, great with kids, bows down to the authority of all cats and is eager to meet everyone who comes his way. He is smart, adaptable, and easy to train, with sit, shake, and down already under his belt.
Bingley has been bounced around quite a bit in his short life due to some unfortunate housing circumstances so he needs an adoptive family that is confident they could hold onto this guy forever. He's accustomed to plenty of time outside, so he'll need a fenced in yard. He will need weekly brushing to keep the mats at bay, but he's happy to sit for grooming and easily lets you wipe down his paws when he comes in. Bingley is a surprisingly low shedder for the amount of coat he has!
Bingley is not a drooler or messy drinker, he's careful despite his size and can give or take the couch. He adores car rides and is a great dog park candidate, he's met and romped with both male and female dog friends this past week and did great at every play date. He walks very well but would love to chase down the occasional bunny or squirrel, so he should be on a harness and his walker should have the strength to hold onto him until he's trained to ignore critters a bit more.
Like almost every big dog, if you leave him home alone with a skillet of scrambled eggs on the stove top, you can expect him to have that skillet cleaned to perfection when you arrive home. He does not counter surf when you are home, only plays with his toys, shows no sign of nuisance barking, and is quite low energy around the house.
This sweet and happy pup is up-to-date on all of his shots, neutered and ready for his forever home. His adoption fee is $275. We are, most ardently in love with him, and we know you will be too! Please call Teri at 630-897-7454 to hear more about him.
