They were both originally from a hoarding situation where their mom showed up to a neighbor's house to harbor her kittens. The family had the kitties for about 2 years until they were unfortunately no longer able to care for them. This lovable duo are ready to find a place they can settle down once and for all.
Chicken Strip is a true companion at heart. Expect this curious and affectionate kitty to follow you around the house, chattering away with little meows as if to say, "Hey, let's hang out!" She thrives on love and attention, and once she’s comfortable, she’ll be all over you with snuggles and purrs. We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $145. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. We each do what we can to help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
In 2020, we rescued and rehomed approximately 650 cats.
