Meet Zenos. He’s become one of my absolute favorite rescues. I’ve brought him to a couple of adoption events, but he often gets overlooked because he’s a little shy at first. Don’t let that fool you, once he warms up, he’s the bestest boy! He loves to snuggle and looks at you with absolute love when he feels safe with you. He is just looking for a human to call his own.
Zenos really hit the jackpot with an amazing foster home, and they’ve sent us these adorable pics along with this sweet write-up:
A sweet, clever little boy who loves to hang and play with his dog buds. Zenos can be shy at first. It might take him a minute to get used to walks, strangers, children, cats, cars: loud noises and sudden movements might make him skittish. But rest assured that once he warms up, you can’t stop him from eagerly requesting a belly rub or jumping for joy to go on a walk. His excited jigs can even make it tricky to get on his harness.
When it’s time to slow down, this squirmy couch potato also adores snuggling in his self-designated favorite spot on the sofa, especially when it’s with his favorite people. He will be in-between, behind, underneath - in all the tightest spots closest to you.
Don’t underestimate this tiny bolt of lightning (who is scared of that too - we’re working on it)!
