Goober is a happy, handsome boy looking for a loving forever home after being rescued. He’s the total package — house-trained, crate-trained, and already knows basic commands. Friendly with kids, strangers, and other large dogs, Goober makes fast friends everywhere he goes. In fact, he’s a neighborhood superstar!
This 70-pound sweetheart loves to lounge most of the day but has an adorable case of the zoomies around 3 PM. He’s great at playing fetch, especially with his football, and enjoys exploring the outdoors.
Goober is respectful with food and toys, letting you take a bone right from his mouth without issue. He’s also good with baths and happy to soak up attention.
Goober does have some allergies, but they are managed with medication. He has a high prey drive, so he cannot live with small dogs, cats, chickens, or other small animals. He would do best in a home with dogs his size or larger.
While he’s a very strong boy now that he’s healthy, Goober is eager to learn. He will need continued leash training (he’s a powerful puller when excited!) but is responsive and willing to please.
If you’re ready to welcome a big-hearted, goofy, loving dog into your life, Goober is your guy!
