Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Iris has no business being as sweet as he always is. With his piercing blue eyes, it won’t take long before Iris charms you into falling for him. He is young, affectionate, and loves to cuddle. Iris and his siblings were found abandoned on a property in the middle of nowhere. Starved and shot through the leg, Iris was understandably petrified of humans. When he finally made his way to Little Victories, we took away his pain and hunger, and we started to see his true personality shine. Iris is silly, sweet, and has a playful side just waiting to come out. He is timid with new people and new environments, but after a slow introduction, Iris will fall for you as hard as you do him.
The best kind of home for Iris:
Iris is seeking a forever place to grow and become the best version of himself. There could be some arthritis in his future, but for now, Iris is healthy as ever and ready to start his life of comfort. He has excellent mobility on three legs and will have no trouble navigating his future home. He previously lived with several other dogs and cats, but we do not know how he would be around small children.
