Ice was recently returned after developing resource guarding behaviors and has a bite history. Because of this, we cannot place him in a home with children. His future home will need to be adult-only and committed to providing consistent outlets for his energy along with professional behavioral support. Ice will do best with an experienced adopter who understands his history and is prepared to invest time, training, and guidance to help him develop safer coping skills. This is not a casual adoption, but with the right structure and support, Ice has the potential to grow into a more balanced and secure companion.
