In foster in Lacey, WA. HICKORY was born 1/25/25. He is a Chihuahua and maybe a touch of Dachshund. He is currently 7# and I expect he will get to be about 10#. Hickory had the shortest legs of the group. He’s happy, playful, and loves people. He is the cutest of the group with his black face. He looks like he just dipped his nose into a pot of dark chocolate!

Update from his foster home:
Hickory is a playful and energetic boy who is cute as can be! He has a funny and outgoing personality and he is also an excellent snuggler. He is affectionate with his humans, his littermate Havana, as well as the other dogs in our house. He is super smart and is catching on quickly to living in the house. As puppies go, he is really easy to take care of. We definitely think he looks like a Chiweenie and we just love him!

Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention.

Adoption Fees
The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting.

All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog.

HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters.
