Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Bandito — a truly pawsome pup who’s ready for my big break in life! I’m almost 2 years old, but I still have that fun, bouncy, puppy-like energy that makes every day an adventure.
So far, no one’s really taught me the ropes of being a top-tier housemate, but lucky for me, the amazing volunteers here are showing me that good manners bring even better rewards (hint: treats!). I’m very food-motivated, so I’m catching on fast.
I’m all about balance — I can go wild for a fluffy stuffy one minute and melt into snuggles the next. I may still be learning how to be the very best boy I can be, but I promise you this: I am worth every bit of the effort.
I’ll need a little time to get to know my new people, but once we’re friends, I’m yours for life.
Come meet me, and let’s make this the start of something wonderful.
— Bandito

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals at any time during open hours.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.
Interested in fostering a dog in need? Join our foster team at www.wilcotx.gov/390/Fostering and click on “Foster Questionnaire.”
Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours—giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We’ll see you soon at either location!
