Meet Percy!
Percy is a little miracle with a big personality! He was bottle-fed as a baby, so he’s extra bonded to people—and he’s not shy about letting you know how he feels. This chatty boy loves to talk, whether he’s telling you it’s dinner time or just sharing his thoughts on the day. Sweet, social, and full of love, Percy is ready to be someone’s loyal sidekick for life.

He’s up-to-date on vaccinations, and if he’s over a year old, his rabies vaccine is included too. If he’s still growing, he won’t be neutered yet—we hold off to avoid hormone issues from early altering. Percy will need to be neutered by age 2, as noted in our adoption contract.

We’ll review everything and email you within 48 hours with an approval or a decline.

Adoption fees can be paid via Venmo, Cash App, or Square (credit card)—whichever works best for you! No need to pay until pick-up day!

After your Zoom or FaceTime interview, you’ll hear from us within 48 hours with an approval or decline. Once approved, you'll sign the adoption contract and schedule a meet-up to take your pup home! Adoption fees are paid at pick-up via Venmo, Cash App, or Square—whatever’s easiest for you.

More about this rescue

It all started with Tank—my soul dog, the one who chose me. Tank was more than a pet; he was family and the inspiration behind everything we do today. Animals have always held a special place in our hearts, and throughout the years, our family has taken in all sorts of dogs while also raising dachshunds.

Eventually, we realized that helping dogs wasn’t just something we did—it was who we are. That’s when we decided to take the leap and become an official rescue.

What makes us different is our understanding of both sides of the conversation. We believe in the importance of spaying and neutering pets to prevent overpopulation, but we also understand why families might want purebred puppies, having raised them ourselves. We strive to bridge that gap by promoting responsible pet ownership while offering second chances to dogs in need.

Our rescue is a labor of love, built on the belief that every dog deserves to feel the unconditional love that Tank gave to me.
