Large Shepherd Mix | Smart | Playful
Chester is a handsome, confident shepherd mix who’s been patiently waiting for his forever home since May. This big guy is toy-driven and absolutely loves a good game of fetch—he’ll happily chase after balls all day if you let him! 🎾
Chester is also a quick learner. While he was initially excited and jumped for the ball, he quickly figured out that sitting politely gets him what he wants. That eagerness to please, combined with his sharp mind, means he’s ready to keep learning new skills with the right guidance.
Out on walks, Chester responds well to verbal cues and was surprisingly easy to handle in the park. He’ll thrive best in a home with a good-sized yard and moderate activity to burn off his energy. Chester is affectionate (sometimes a little pushy with his love) and enjoys being close to his people.
Because of his strong prey drive, Chester should go to a home without cats or small animals, and he’ll need a proper dog test before meeting potential canine siblings. He’s recommended for kids 13+.
