Pecan is a stunning polydactyl beauty! With her sweet and gentle nature, Pecan is the kind of cat who will quickly become your constant companion. One of her favorite things is rubbing her face against your hands – it’s her way of saying, “You’re mine now!” She adores attention and will happily trot over for pets and scratches. She’s social, always eager to greet new people (especially if they come bearing toys). When she’s not lounging in a sunbeam or ruling from the top of her cat tree, Pecan is all about playtime! She loves chasing springs, swatting wand toys, and climbing with her graceful, athletic moves. Pecan is not only great with humans – she’s also very polite and friendly when meeting other cats. Her calm demeanor and respectful manners make her a lovely addition to multi-cat households. Pecan needs a prescription food to keep her tummy from being upset, but is otherwise a healthy cat! Click on "available pet" and scroll down to find the adoption application. After filling out an application, e-mail it to ColumbusPetRescue@gmail.com. We will process your information and check veterinary and other references. Finally you may be scheduled for a home visit to make sure the environment is perfect for your new family member. Once you are approved, the process is simple: choose your new cat, meet and greet him or her, and, if all goes well, you have yourself a new pet.
