Boone is our 7 year old Border Collie. He has lived a good life on our family farm with our 5 kids. My husband died suddenly two years ago and I’ve had to move off the farm. I hate having to do this, but would like to find him a place that fits his needs more than I can during this transition. He is a very very friendly boy, loves being outside, going on walks. He gets anxious if little kids get in his face or pulls on him, but he is good around a little older kids as he has lived close to our 5 children since he was 4 months old. I believe Boone would be best for someone who is use to having dogs, has a little more space for him to stretch out. Would not Be great for apartment living or a space with a tiny yard. Ideally, he would be adopted by someone with a little land. He is good with other dogs, cats and raised with a mix of farm animals. He is prone to herding things, typical for his breed. Scared during thunder storms and wants to be inside, is crate trained.
