He’s affectionate, playful, smart, and loyal — the full package of love and fun. Rocko adores people and soaks up attention with happy wiggles and the biggest grin you’ve ever seen.
🧠 Smart Cookie: Rocko learns fast! He already knows “sit,” “touch,” “gentle,” and “leave it,” and he’s mastering “down.” He’s food- and toy-motivated, which makes training a blast.
🎾 Playtime Pro: This guy lives for toys! Rocko plays hard but fair, with silly play bows and nudges to keep the fun going.
🐕 Other Pets: Rocko prefers to be the star of the show and receive all your love to himself!
🚶♂️ Adventure Buddy: Rocko walks nicely on leash and loves exploring/hiking. He might pull if he spots a lizard (can you blame him?), but he listens well and enjoys staying connected to his handler.
👶 He can get a bit eager with toys and treats, so older kids may be the best match.

Come meet me at High Country Humane located at 11665 N. Highway 89, Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Our shelter is open Thursday–Tuesday, 11am–5pm, and closed on Wednesdays.
Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (we register it for free!). Each adoption also includes a free health exam. Please bring a leash and collar with you or plan to purchase here. We can’t wait to help you meet your new furry friend!
