I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Ruckus, and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self.

What my Foster Says About Me: 8/19 - Ruckus is an beautifully sweet kitten.  He loves playing with the resident cats or is just as happy sharing cuddles with humans. He'll join you on your lap or desk while you work. He is also ready to keep himself occupied with his toys. He still has the sweetest baby kitten meow. If you allow him, he will likely come cuddle in your arm for a nap or overnight for slumber. He will do great in a home with other cats and also currently lives with a dog.  Ruckus is very reserved at events. If you like to meet him in person outside of the event, please email his coordinator. He's located in Gaithersburg, MD.

7/5 - Ruckus has developed into an adorable sweet kitten. He has adapted well to our resident cats.  He rubs up against each one to get affection. He loves playing chase and tag with them.  He's even opened up to the adults in the home accepting chin scratches and the occasional pick up and cuddle. Ruckus is a very brave boy. He has learned to correct our dog if she gets to close in a way that makes him feel uncomfortable. However he's ready to approach her dog in order to smell her nose.  Ruckus will do amazing in a home with another welcoming cat. He's ready to be your kitty's best friend and eat all the treats from your hand!

Kitten Vetting Requirements: Your kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption.  You will be responsible for providing whatever remaining vaccines are needed to complete the kitten vaccine series.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!

Go meet their pets

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
