Meet Keating—the black-and-white bundle of energy who turns mornings into a playful leg-wrapping fiesta (especially when breakfast is on the menu)! This little guy loves zooming around, chatting up a storm with his adorable cooing calls, and soaking up pets whenever he can get them.
He’s talkative, absolutely loves all the head scratchies, and doesn’t mind being picked up—though he prefers short snuggles (he’s working on those longer cuddles!). When he’s not busy being a whirlwind, Keating enjoys chilling on his favorite sunny window perch, keeping a close eye on all the neighborhood happenings. 👀🌞
Keating can be a bit shy around sudden movements and loud noises, and he’s cautious of new people, so he will need a quieter home with no children or dogs to help him feel safe and secure. He’s loyal to his foster family and is steadily gaining confidence every day.
Keating absolutely adores his sister Keller. These two truly bring out the best in each other—and adopting them together would be a wonderful way to help both feel braver and more comfortable in their new home.
If you’re looking for a sweet, loving, and talkative companion who will fill your days with energy and affection, Keating is ready to steal your heart (and maybe you’ll get double the love with his sister Keller too). For more information or to apply to adopt, please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/

More about this rescue
Purr Partners Feline Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill, foster-based, all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats and kittens in Central North Carolina — incorporated in 2009 by two friends, four cats, and no budget. These two women realized the need for a "cat only" rescue that worked with rural shelters — where cats routinely lose their lives. Purr Partners was founded to save the lives of those most in jeopardy with little hope of survival. High-kill rural shelters became the focus for Purr Partners, and that is still true today. From those humble beginnings, the rescue has grown to over a hundred active volunteers and a budget of approximately $175,000. At any given time there are between 100 and 150 cats and kittens in foster care. We have saved the lives of over 3500 cats and are still growing!
