My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Noah’s story began on the streets of Los Angeles, where he was found dragging his back legs and struggling to survive. No one knows exactly what happened to him, but it is clear he has been through more than any dog ever should. Despite it all, Noah’s spirit has never dimmed.

This sweet two to three year old boy was rescued from a local shelter after landing on the euthanasia list. He has some lasting weakness in his back legs, but it does not slow his love for life. Noah gets around on his own and also uses a wheelchair for longer adventures, giving him the freedom to explore and enjoy the world around him.

Noah does have some incontinence, but with a little extra care he is comfortable and content and happily goes potty in the yard. He would thrive in a home with minimal stairs, a fenced yard, and no carpet to help make moving around easier for him.

He is a gentle and affectionate dog who gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats. Playful, loving, and full of heart, Noah brings joy wherever he goes. His easygoing and happy nature would also make him a wonderful companion for a family with children.

Now Noah is in Tampa Bay and looking for his forever home. He is waiting for the family who will see past his challenges and fall in love with the resilient, kind soul he truly is.

If you are ready to give this incredible boy the home he has been waiting for, please apply to adopt at www.compassionkind.org/adopt

Additional adoption info

All of our dogs and cats come spayed/neutered and vaccinated! Some of the pups will only have their first round of shots and may need rabies if they are under 3 months old. But other than that, these babies come ready to go! Our adoption fees vary, please inquire about each dog's individual fees. We do have cats and kittens available from time to time, so please inquire if you are looking for a feline pal! With their vetting, flights and care, we only ask for the adoption donation to help offset costs and make sure our adopters are serious. We love our rescues like we love our family. They mean the world to us and we just want to see them in good loving homes! And please check back as we are always adding new rescues to this page.

More about this rescue

We approach each every situation with an open mind. We work to build respect and trust with the partners, communities and countries we work in. With their acceptance, we build a plan together to meet the most pressing issues. We listen, learn and solve the needs together. We look for solutions that are integrated, scale-able, and sustainable. At Compassion Kind, we work with governments, institutions, local leaders, civil society organizations, foundations and businesses around the world to ensure that the most vulnerable beings are heard, and that they get the assistance they need to sustain from within the communities. Our teams and partners advocate for capacity building training and grass roots techniques so we make a lasting impact, create measurable change and operate as efficiently as possible.
