Bug is now ready for adoption!! This sweet boy is SUCH a good dog. You can tell it when you meet him that he has something a little extra special.
When he first came to the street department, he was underweight and covered in ticks. Despite having never met us, he sat patiently while we removed them. He is very people-focused and has limitless potential for training.
Bug had a scary complication after neuter surgery that required weeks of monitoring and crate rest. Throughout everything he has been a trooper, just happy for love and attention.
He is crate trained, potty trained, and dog friendly. He has not been tested with cats. He is approximately 4 years old and 75-80 lbs. He would be a fantastic addition to many homes.

Additional adoption info
All of our dogs and cats are fully vetted prior to adoption - spayed/neutered, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated and tested for heartworm (dogs) or FIV/FeLV (cats).
To adopt an animal from us, you will be required to complete an adoption application. When your completed application is returned to us, we will conduct a criminal background check, verify home ownership or landlord permission, check with any veterinary references and conduct a home check. Then pay adoption fee.
Please note that our adoption contract for cats has a NO DECLAW clause.

More about this rescue
We are a small non-profit rescue focused on the 4.77 square mile town of Speedway, Indiana, home of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Our goal is to make Speedway a no-kill town where every animal is spayed/neutered, microchipped and properly cared for. We rescue all animals taken to the town's Animal Control facility. We assist owners in need with veterinary care and food/supplies. We help trap-neuter-release feral cat colonies and socialize/adopt kittens under 3 months old.
Due to limited resources, we are unable to accept animals from outside the town's boundaries at this time.
